Florida!

We endured our first flight and vacation as a family

and boy did we have a great time! The 3 of us headed

to Naples last Saturday to visit my parents at the condo

they are renting for the month. Owen was a perfect

angel on the flight to Florida! He slept in his car seat

and when he woke up he made several friends with the

passengers around us. Some people even commented

that they weren't aware that we even had a baby with us!

We had a really special week with great company and

wonderful warm weather. Needless to say, Jordan and I

were questioning why we live in WI in the first place!

My mom saved this lizard from the unseasonably

cold weather the first week in January and she kept

it until we arrived.

He was hesitant at first, only putting

one foot down, but once he realized he could

kick and fling it with his feet, he liked it!

He did cry when we did this, only because the water

was FREEZING!!! He didn't do much but dip his

toes in the whole trip - I don't blame him.

Everyday around 3 we saw several dolphins

swim by looking for food

Owen took his afternoon naps was the beach everyday.

Jordan would walk him up and down the beach

and then hold him for up to 2 hours! Once my dad

was in town Jordan handed him over. The pictures

of Jordan holding him are on my moms camera :(

On our last day there Jordan took Owen for his first

dip in a pool. He was happy for the first few minutes

but then decided it wasn't for him.

"Wave Hi!"

"Get me out of here!"
