Owen is potty trained!

A couple weeks after Owen's 3rd birthday, I decided it was time to 

put a real effort into this whole potty training thing.  Being that Owen

is our first child we really had no idea to go about this.  I posted a status on

facebook looking for advice from veteran potty trainers and we went to

work.  It took about a good week to get him to run to the potty on his

own, but he did it.  After several nights of waking up with a dry pull

up we decided to try unders for bed and he has not had an accident yet.

We are still experiencing some number 2 accidents (today at the library!) 

all because our busy little man does not like to stop playing to go sit on the 

potty.  Plus, Owen's favorite time to poop was when he was playing :)

He has no fear of visiting public bathrooms and his first one

was at the local McDonalds.  Way to go Owen!!

I had to post this picture. Jordan and Papa made an impromptu trip

to Cabella's and came home with this toy gun.  Owen of course 

loved it and took it every where with him...including the bathroom.

So he got to poop and play this time :)
