A Day Out With Thomas
Today we drove up to Green Bay to spend the day with Thomas and
his friends! We got to take a ride on a train that Thomas pulled,
played with several real trains in the train museum, saw Sir Topham
Hat, got train tattoos and had fun as a family of 3! Owen's eyes
were constantly on the move soaking up all the entertainment, so
we didn't get too many pictures of him actually looking at the camera.
He has already suggested that we go "maybe again" :)
Waiting in line to board Thomas
We picked the double decker and rode on the top
Waiting for Thomas to start our trip
Getting a good look at Thomas pulling us along our ride
Big Big Locomotive
Inside the train museum we could go in several
of the trains and see what they used to look like
inside. Owen has a poster of the Big Boy
Locomotive in his new big boy room, so it was very
exciting to see him in person!
Back of Big Boy
Owen leaning against Big Boy's wheel
Daddy and Owen spent a lot of time inside his
cab
His cab had so many wheels to turn and levers to pull
a 2 year olds dream!
Our train conductor
Owen picked a Thomas umbrella as his souvenir. It was
a good purchase due to the 2 heavy down pours we were in!
One last look at Thomas before we head home
This was 2 minutes after we left the parking lot....tired boy :)
